The inspiration for Late Bloomer, Inc. came to the Founder, Nancy Maltin as she was traveling to her first job as a lawyer at the age of 50. Throughout life, people had always referred to her as a “late bloomer” and she was finally making that statement a reality. Nancy began her life journey as an actress, a performer and a waitress, a path that wasn’t without its ups and downs. One day, Nancy decided she needed more and wanted to give more to life. Having been a high school dropout, Nancy received her G.E.D. at the age of 41, applied to college and graduated from law school at the age of 50. After sharing her story with others, Nancy often heard “I’ve always wanted to go back to school or change jobs, but I thought it was too late….After talking to you, I realize it is possible!”

Hearing such reactions from others about her own success inspired Nancy to create a company that would enable others to do what she had done. Late Bloomer, Inc., began in 2001 as a clothing line and has developed into a full-service company that seeks to help late bloomers everywhere overcome the obstacles and make their dreams come true. While the company still provides quality tops and tee-shirts with our “late bloomer”® logo and slogan, “it’s never too late to dream”®, Late Bloomer, Inc. now provides information, services, and related links to aid late bloomers in their quest to realize their dreams…at any age.

The Late Bloomer Foundation was created to give grants, loans and educational information to other late bloomers to help them reach their goals. Additionally, the Foundation exists as the charitable arm of Late Bloomer, Inc., by way of making donations to individuals and organizations who are in need of financial assistance and who are contributing to their communities by way of humanitarian efforts.

Today, Late Bloomer, Inc. is a reality. A portion of the profits generated by the sales of the tee-shirts and other products sold by Late Bloomer, Inc. will be donated to the Late Bloomer Foundation, from which charitable contributions will be made.
